Connota

Draft: pending legal review.

Terms of service

Effective date: 16 July 2026 (draft)

These terms govern your use of Connota (app.connota.ai) and this website. Plain language on purpose; the bracketed placeholders will be completed once the company registration exists.

The service

Connota analyses creative work (single assets, campaign sets and multi-frame sequences) against the brand reference, briefing and markets you provide, and produces findings, scores, reports and focus-group rehearsal sessions.

Research preview

Connota is offered as a research preview in early access. Features, availability, credit mechanics and pricing may change while the product matures, and the service may occasionally be interrupted: there is no uptime guarantee or SLA during the preview. We set expectations honestly and communicate changes as clearly as we can.

Accounts

You need an account to use the product, and you must be at least 16 to create one. Keep your credentials confidential and your account information accurate; you are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Credits and tiers

Access is organised in credit-based tiers with a transparent usage meter. Analyses and focus-group sessions draw from the same allowance. Credit and tier mechanics may change during early access; we communicate changes clearly.

Acceptable use

Upload only lawful content that you own or are licensed to analyse. Do not use Connota to infringe anyone's rights, to process content you have no right to process, or to interfere with the operation or security of the platform.

Intellectual property

You keep every right to the content you upload and to your brand. We keep every right to the Connota platform, its methodology and its design. By uploading, you grant us the limited licence needed to store and process your content in order to provide the service to you — nothing more.

Analyses are advisory

Analyses, scores, findings and focus-group sessions are advisory information about the work itself: its consistency, fidelity and readiness. They are not professional or legal advice, and no guarantee of market performance. Connota examines the work; it does not predict audience outcomes.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [ENTITY] is not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from use of the service, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using Connota and delete your account at any time; your content is then removed as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, with notice where that is reasonable. Provisions that by their nature survive (intellectual property, liability, governing law) keep applying.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms while the product matures. When we do, we update this page and adjust the date at the top; material changes are announced to account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. [ENTITY] will be completed here once the company registration exists.
